2026 FEATURED ARTISTS
MuralFest 2026 is bringing together a dynamic group of local and regional artists whose work transforms public space through color, storytelling, and creativity. From immersive murals and whimsical characters to bold portraits and expressive abstract work, this year’s featured artists will reimagine the area under the 6th Street Bridge into one of Little Rock’s newest public art destinations.
Lindsey Witting Barnum
Lindsey Witting Barnum is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in mural design and installation. Since graduating in 2022, she has quickly built a thriving freelance practice, transforming spaces through bold, thoughtfully crafted murals. With a background in graphic design and illustration, her work blends strong visual storytelling with technical precision. While murals remain her primary freelance focus, Lindsey continues to take on a range of creative projects that expand her artistic reach and approach.
Kait Culbertson
Most inspired by daily life, dreams, and words from her journal, illustrator and designer Kait Culbertson meshes playful expressions from the human experience with vivid color. Her work focuses on themes of positivity and tenderness with bold, bright colors. Kait is self-taught and operates from her home studio in Little Rock, Arkansas. Extending her vision beyond the studio, she offers custom works, art licensing, and wholesale partnerships. Kait also brings her signature vibrancy to the public sphere through large-scale asphalt art installations.
Samuel Hale
Samuel Hale, aka Chase Sharp, is a muralist rooted in the Ozarks and inspired by the wild heart of the Mark Twain Forest. His work pulls from the things that keep him steady — gardening, hunting, and the stories written in the land itself. He has a deep love for Native American history and the rich tapestry of different cultures that have shaped the Ozarks. He is passionate about painting portraits, scenes from history, and the natural world because each wall is a chance for him to pass on something worth remembering.
Brennan Henson
Brennan Henson, aka Brendull Fly Art, has been painting for over 15 years. She uses acrylic paint to restore thrifted wood, creating colorful animal characters in her signature style. Brennan also prints out her originals by taking high quality scans of both the original and vintage fabric to create a texturized natural composition that are then made into stickers and prints and sold at local shops, online, and at in person markets. She works as a muralist too, designing her own frescoes on a commission basis. Her work is inspired by old children’s books, nostalgia, food textures, and all things whimsical!
Jade Rivers
Jade Rivers is a young local artist whose creative journey began early with a love for drawing, coloring, and turning everyday moments into something expressive. Art has always been an outlet for her; a way for her to tell stories and connect with the world around her. She has been making art since she could hold a pencil, but she began painting murals and creating custom artwork professionally at sixteen years old. Since then, she has grown through many experiences that have shaped both her craft and the way she sees the role of art in people’s lives. Today, Jade’s work is centered around creating pieces that invite connection, spark emotion, and cultivate a sense of wellness within the community.
Bethannie Newsom Steelman
Bethannie Newsom Steelman, aka Paint Shaman, is an American artist who has been enchanting audiences with her vibrant murals since 2011. Her walls come alive with rainbow-colored imagery that seamlessly blends figurative elements and abstract flows of color, immersing viewers in a dreamlike experience. Through her expressive brushstrokes, Bethannie redefines the boundaries of mural art, crafting colorful spaces that evoke joy, wonder, and a profound sense of belonging.
