Keep Arkansas Beautiful Issues RFP to Develop Mural for Little Rock School

Arkansas-based artists encouraged to submit RFP for mural project

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (August 11, 2021) — The Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission (KAB) via its advertising agency of record, MHP/Team SI, requests proposals from the public for the installation of a mural on the campus of the eStem Public Charter School. Interested parties can submit proposals now through midnight on Aug. 31, 2021.

The previously designed and approved mural will be located on the exterior, first and second stories, east-facing brick façade wall of the eStem Public Charter School building at 112 West 3rd Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72201.

“This new mural is a unique example of our organization continuing its mission to inspire Arkansans to improve the livability of their communities,” said Mark Camp, executive director of KAB. “As we continue to implement exciting ways to beautify our state, we are thankful for all of our partners and encourage muralists to submit their proposals to be part of this community project.”

The selected muralists will oversee production and complete installation of the artwork, which will simultaneously meet the artistic, technical and public safety goals outlined in the official RFP. Preference in the selection process will be given to Arkansas-based firms, installers and artists. It is also preferred, but not required, that the muralists have experience in successfully installing works of a similar scale and scope, completed under a similar timeline.

To submit a proposal or for any additional information, clarifications or instructions concerning the project, interested parties can contact Colbie Jones by email at cjones@mhpteamsi.com or by phone at 501-376-0321.
