About Us

Our Vision & Mission

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to accelerate the success of Downtown Little Rock, through leadership, partnership and initiative, sustaining and growing our vibrant urban core.

We strive to provide leadership in this endeavor by addressing or advocating for planning, legislation, transportation, economic development and numerous public and private initiatives. These initiatives serve to strengthen the overall downtown business, cultural, entertainment, recreational, and residential communities, and to enhance the image of downtown Little Rock.

We've been busy at the downtown Little Rock Partnership! Here are a few of the many services we are providing:

We believe in place-making - planning and throwing incredible events to showcase the wonderful possibilities of downtown. We have added many events in recent years, and our lineup throughout the year now includes the Main Street Food Truck Festival, Barkus on Main dog parade, East Village Street Food Jam, Landlubbers Holiday Boat Float, Bright the Night Christmas Tree lighting, various Alley Parties, Movies in the Parking Lot, and much more.

Creation of a Main Street Revitalization Committee to assist with "turning the corner on Main Street." At the recommendation of the Mayors’ Council on City Design, the committee partnered with the City of Little Rock in the revitalization efforts.

Leadership, advocacy, and fundraising assistance for MacArthur Park Group’s development of a Master Plan to upgrade historic MacArthur Park to a Class A park designation, as well as better integrate the park with its historic neighborhood in an urban setting. The Connections: MacArthur Park District Master Plan developed by Conway+Schulte has won 10 awards, including a prestigious AIA ward. Additionally, the group has developed the Museum Art & Heritage (Walking) Trail and the accompanying award winning Arkansas Political History Audio Tour (downloadable on littlerock.org - sightseeing).

In February of 2018, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of the Ambassadors Program, which seeks to better serve downtown's residents and visitors. In 2023, the program expanded with support from Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. the city board and the Little Rock Adversitising and Promotion Commission. Learn more.
