You’ll always have a different experience every time you visit Downtown Little Rock, especially as the months and seasons change. In spring the River Market Pavilion spills over with fresh vegetables at the Farmer’s Market, summer brings outdoor dining and fireworks at the river, fall offers arts and crafts (and more vegetables), then winter serves up holiday shopping and celebration.

One of our favorite summer time activities is Movies in the Park. Movies in the Park was established in 2005 through the joint effort of private citizens, Downtown Little Rock Partnership and the River Market. Their goal was to provide the best in American and world cinema to the greater Little Rock community at no charge on a giant outdoor screen at the Riverfront Amphitheatre in Riverfront Park. The nine-film series was a huge success and is now in its fifth season. Movies in the Park provides on site security for a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.

Check out the calendar below for the Movies in the Park schedule and other special Downtown events and activities.
